Hello & Welcome

Ortnevik is a picturesque village set on the edge of the Sognefjord in the Høyanger Municipality, Norway. A village with no more than 50 permanent residents, but comes alive during the summer with many national and international tourists due to a collection of summer cabins found within the village. An ideal destination for a rural break, Ortnevik offers fjord fishing, beautiful scenery, with mountain trails that take you to the Stølsheimen National Park. Ortnevik is largely a farming village, with many farms owning cows and sheep. There is a local shop, ferry quay, library, village hall and self-catering cabins available for use during your stay.
